Deposit and Final Payment

A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 per person is due at the time of booking. This deposit forms part of your final payment, which is due 45 days prior to your departure. Bookings made within 45 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.


Cancellations / Refunds

All cancellations must be in writing to Equinox Travel. The date of cancellation shall be the date on the postal stamp. If Equinox Travel cancels a tour, any money you have paid toward that trip will be refunded in full.

All money lost due to client cancellation can be credited to any other available tour that our company offers within 12 months of cancellation. No refunds can be made for unused portions of any tour.

General Tour Booking and Cancellation Policy

  1. All trip tariffs are quoted and payable in US dollars, Euros, or Turkish Lira as indicated in the invoices.
  2. Multi-day tours require a $500 per person deposit at the time of booking. A   deposit constitutes part of your full payment, which is due 45 days prior to the beginning of your tour. Full payment is required prior to arrival in Turkey.
  3. Tours with multi-day yacht charters require an additional non-refundable deposit (40% of the total tour cost) at the time of booking. A deposit constitutes part of your full payment, which is due 90 days prior to the beginning of your tour. Full payment is required prior to arrival in Turkey.
  4. Tour prices do not include international air transportation or domestic airfare (unless specified); any passport or visa fees; personal expenses; airport taxes; excess baggage charges; or travel, health, accident or baggage insurance. Please refer to the What is Included section of your itinerary for specific details.
  5. To provide clients with the best possible lodging within a quoted price, Equinox Travel reserves the right to change accommodations named in any itinerary.
  6. All cancellations must be made in writing to Equinox Travel.
  7. If a client cancels 45 days prior to the first day of a tour, all client funds paid (minus a $500 per person administration fee) are refundable for the land portion of a tour.
  8. For tours including multi day yacht charters, if a client may cancels up to 90 days prior to the first day of a tour, all client funds paid (minus a $500 per person administration fee and the 40 % deposit) are refundable.
  9. No payments are refundable within the 45 days prior to the date of departure for land tours.

10. No payments are refundable for cancellation made within the 90 days prior to the date of departure for any tour that includes a multi-day yacht charter.

11. Pastoral Turizm ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. (the legal Turkish name of Equinox Travel) reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure date for reasons that may include but are not restricted to: unforeseen or unexpected equipment failure, adverse climatic conditions, acts of war, terrorism or civil unrest or other human or natural occurrences beyond Equinox Travel’s control.

12. A trip canceled by Equinox Travel will result in a 100% refund of all monies paid.

13. In the event of any cancellation, Equinox Travel will not be held liable for loss of any funds beyond those paid to them—including, but not restricted to– airfares, ground transportation, boats, hotels, agent fees, or other expenses associated with a canceled tour. Nevertheless, Equinox Travel will make all efforts to obtain refunds from other suppliers associated with the tour or to obtain credits clients may apply to future travel.

Equinox Travel cannot be responsible or liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings, nor can we be liable for personal injury, accident or illness. We strongly recommend you check with your personal insurance policy. Additionally, we recommend you to purchase insurance for trip cancellations, baggage loss, travel accident and health. We can provide information upon request.


Itinerary Changes

Every effort will be made to ensure that each tour follows the content of the itinerary. However, on occasion, conditions related to weather, failure of any means of transportation, strikes, acts of god or situations beyond our control may require revisions. Any resulting additional expense will be payable by the tour participants and any resulting savings will be refunded by operator to tour participants.



Equinox Travel acts only as an agent for the passengers in regard to transportation and all other travel related services as stated in the itinerary, assumes no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, bus, minibus, boat, aircraft, carriage, motor or other conveyance which may be used either wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for any act, error or omission or for any personal injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or inconvenience which may be occasioned by reasons of any defect in any vehicle, or through any act, neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. We cannot accept any responsibility for flight delays, cancellations or missed connections and are not liable for any expenses or consequences resulting there from.

We reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general demeanor impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of passengers. A refund of unused land tour services is the limit of our liability.
