This tour is an ideal tour for everyone who loves nature and archaeology as well as unspoiled beautiful landscapes, away from tourist routes. The region of Pisidia is located in the Taurus Mountain range, and the ancient cities figure in a wildly beautiful mountain landscape. However, they are rarely visited and therefore an easy target for looting.
Equinox Travel & BIAA have worked on the Pisidia Heritage Trail project since 2013 and builds on results of the Pisidia Archaeological Survey Project directed by Stephen Mitchell and Lutgarde Vandeput.
The resulting long-distance walking trail is ca 350 kilometers long and connects 9 archaeological sites as well as picturesque mountain villages. Many of the walking paths reflect ancient roads in the area. The trail is designed to attract hikers and nature lovers, adventurers in general, and to increase benefits for the communities who live by these ruins. This in turn is expected to result in increased protection of the sites by the local communities against illicit digging.
Day 1 / 01 May Wed / Arrival Sia - Kocain / Milyas
Arrive to Antalya airport latest at 10:00 am and meet at the airport with your guide. Today we will walk the ancient trail from Sia to the prehistoric Kocain Cave. We will visit Sia in the morning and walk the beautiful trail in the afternoon. Milyos Hotel & Bungalows. (B/L/D)

Day 2 / 02 May Thursday / Kremna - Sagalassos
Today we will walk the beautiful trail and forest roads from Kremna towards Sagalassos. Visit Kremna and walk from Kremna following the ancient trail towards Sagalassos. Dinner and overnight Sagalassos Lodge. (B/L/D)
Total walk approximately 17 km / 8 hours.
Day 3 / 03 May Friday / Kapikaya – Kovada Lake National Park / Egirdir
Today we will visit the magnificent ancient city at Kapikaya. From Kapikaya we will walk to the Kovada Lake National Park. Drive to Egirdir. Dinner and overnight Egirdir. (B/L)
Total walk approximately 10 km / 6 hours
Day 4 / 04 May Saturday / Delisarnıç – Çaltepe / Departure
Today we will drive to Delisarnic and take the ancient trail from Delisarnic to Caltepe. We will follow the ancient trails for most of the time during this hike. Dinner and overnight at Bungalows Erdinc Pension or Perge.(B/L/D)
Total walk approximately 8 km / 5 hours
Day 4 / 05 May Sunday / Delisarnic - Selge / Departure
Today we will walk this time again from Delisarnic towards Selge and complete the ancient trail. Visit Selge ancient city and lunch at Selge. Arrive to Antalya airport around 19:00.
